# Wispot

> Wispot replaces the Wi-Fi password in cafés, restaurants, hotels, gyms and shops with a welcome page in the venue's brand. Guests get online with WhatsApp, email, one tap or a code printed on their receipt; the owner gets a consented guest list, more Google reviews and offers that bring guests back. Works with the router the venue already has. Made in Casablanca, Morocco, by JABB (https://jabb.cx).

## What it does

- Branded Wi-Fi welcome page (captive portal) in French, Arabic and English, set up in about ten minutes without a technician.
- Ways to connect: WhatsApp or SMS code, email, "just connect" in one tap, or a Wi-Fi code printed on the receipt.
- Receipt Wi-Fi codes: the till (POS) asks Wispot for a code with each order (1 to 5 phones, valid for a set time or until closing), or the venue prints one shared code that changes daily. The router enforces the phone limit and time window.
- Returning guests are recognised and connect with zero taps.
- Guest list with consent records for the GDPR and Morocco's Law 09-08 (CNDP), exports and deletion on request.
- Review requests after every visit, sent to every guest. Each guest is first asked to rate the visit: high ratings are invited to post on Google, lower ratings to tell the team privately, and everyone still sees a link to Google. The owner can switch this step off.
- Automations: thank-you, win-back, birthday and milestone messages on WhatsApp, SMS or email, with a 10% holdout to measure real lift.
- Owner dashboard: guests today against a typical day, returning rate, busy hours, location comparison, suggested actions.
- After connecting, guests can see a digital menu, a spin-the-wheel game, an app download, a website, a survey, a booking form or a sponsored video.

## Works with

## Questions owners ask

### Do I need new hardware?
Not if you use UniFi, Omada, MikroTik, Meraki, Ruckus, Aruba, Cambium or OpenWrt. With a standard ISP box, the Wispot Box plugs in next to it and runs the guest network while your box keeps serving staff Wi-Fi.

### Is it legal to collect guest data?
Yes, with clear consent. Wispot records consent with the exact wording each guest saw, handles retention and connection logs, and gives you the paperwork for the GDPR and Morocco's Law 09-08, including the CNDP declaration.

### What if my guests don't want to log in?
Offer "Just connect". They get online in one tap and you still see visit numbers, without personal data.

### Can my staff keep their own Wi-Fi?
Yes. Wispot runs a separate guest network. Your staff devices and payment terminals stay on their own.

### How long does setup take?
Most owners publish a welcome page in a few minutes. Connecting the router takes one click on cloud-managed brands, one pasted line on MikroTik, or plugging in the Wispot Box.

### Can the Wi-Fi code be printed on the receipt?
Yes. Your till asks Wispot for a code with each order and prints it on the ticket: one code per order for 1 to 5 phones, valid for a set time or until closing, or one shared code that changes every day. Guests type it on the welcome page and the router enforces the limits.

### What happens to my data if I leave?
You export your full guest list in one click. When you close the account, the data is deleted on the schedule in our data agreement.
